  1. Bolt Withdraws From Tunisia After Money-Laundering Probe

An earlier version said TND 12 million had been seized from Bolt. The funds were seized from the accounts of several ride-hailing apps. We also removed a statement that Bolt intended to appeal, as we found no record of a formal appeal, and corrected the dollar conversion to about $3.8 million.

  2. Tunisian Startups Raised Just $300,000 in H1 2026

An earlier version presented the UAE ($591M) and Saudi ($102M) figures as first-half totals. They were second-quarter figures. The first-half totals are $1.2 billion and $259 million.

  3. EasyBank Raises $370K to Simplify Access to Credit in Tunisia

An earlier version described EasyBank as offering AI-based underwriting. EasyBank is a platform that helps people access loans and banking services; it is not a bank or a lender. We also replaced an unsourced account-ownership estimate with the World Bank Findex figure (37.8% in 2024) and removed unsourced card and mobile-money figures.

  4. Near-Zero Equity Deals: Tunisia's Startup Drought in H1 2026

An earlier version said Tunisia recorded zero equity deals in H1 2026. The source reported near-zero activity and cited one undisclosed investment, in RoboCare. We also removed two claims the source did not support.
